Jon is a Louisiana native who has called Texas home since 2004. Raised in Fort Worth, he attended Brewer High School where he grew to know and love this community. In 2016, Jon completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University and earned a degree in Political Science with a minor in Forensic Science, graduating with Cum Laude honors. While at Baylor, he was awarded the Outstanding Student in Political Science Award for his academic achievements in the classroom. Outside of the classroom, Jon participated in multiple organizations. He served as the Vice President of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and was a member of both the Phi Alpha Delta International Law fraternity and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Following his tenure at Baylor, Jon enrolled at the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor Degree in 2019. During his time at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Jon earned his spot on the Dean’s List five times, advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the Annual 1L Moot Court Competition, and was actively involved in several student associations and competitions, including the Business Law Society, the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, the Black Law Student Association, and the 2018 LawMeets Transactional Law Competition.
